Oklahoma City Trout Fishing - Dolese Park

New Year's Day will mark the opening of Oklahoma City's seventh annual rainbow trout season at Dolese Youth Park Pond, one of Oklahoma City's "Close to Home" fishing waters, located 1/2 block west of Meridian on NW 50.

Thousands of fish will be stocked through the eight-week season, opening January 1 and running through February 29, 2008. The rainbow trout will average 1/2 pound in weight and ninety percent of the fish will be 8 to 14 inches in length. The remainder will be trophy size fish up to 24 inches in length.
