hi from the harrison family from texas. we love going too arbuckle lake and hanging out for the weekend. anyone outhere knows how the fishing is lately.
The Wildlife Department put out this post on Arbuckle yesterday:
Elevation 4 ft. below normal, water 45 and stained from algae bloom. Crappie fair to good around brush piles. White bass fair on spoons around mid-lake ridges and humps. Bass fishing slow to fair on drop shot, jigs and jerk baits.
That's all that I have heard lately.

I live in Edmond just north of Oklahoma City. Arbuckle and Murray are two of my favorite lakes in Oklahoma though. We go to Wichita Falls every year for the Hotter N Hell bike race.
thanks ronnie, for responding back. yep arbuckle and murray are my favorite lakes too. there is alot of fish in both of them and fun and clear water. i live near wichita falls,tx. 35-miles south town olney,tx pop-3,000. its a good town too raise a family. alot of sooner fans here too haha. my nickname is ou-johnny, i go too all the home games. i was raised at davis and graduated there in 1977. iam a seminole-chickasaw indian. the ou quarterback sam bradford comes too my mothers house in westmoore too swim and hang out with my nephews there. yes we love too come down too the davis-sulphur-and ardmore for the weekends too have fun and relax. you said you ride in the hotter-hell. i come watch you in 2009. i appreciate you responding back. maybe see you this spring at arbuckle lake. i have a brand new red chevy silverado truck and red monte carlo for my wife recently. i work mon-wed, put in anywhere 60-70 hours and the rest of the week iam off,and on thursdays usually go down too arbuckle by myself and fish that day come back when it gets dark haha. usually get home at 12;00 p.m. wife dosen,t mind me going, she knows that my game, besides my oklahoma sooners. talk too ya sooner or later. your friend from olney,tx. johnny harrison.
hello i have been fisut hing arbuckle and have caught several nice bass on bango minnow thats about it though but lately i have been fishing lake atoka and have caught several nice or i should say dam nice crappie and mississippi white cats and chan cats if you have not tried atoka lake i recemend it thats about all have a nice one

hello thanks for the reply ou fan myself. to tell the truth i am kinda stuck on atoka lol can,t resist the crappie i been catching and the cats but one day i shall venture back to arbuckle and maybe catch up with and do some fishing i don,t think a person could have enough friends and set around swaping fishing tales while trying to catch the big one and once again thanks for the reply john latshaw
